Join us on February 3, 2010, 8:15 am at City Hall. Tell us your TIC stories today!
Please join Plan C for a rally to support condominium conversion reform! On February 3rd San Francisco will hold its annual condominium conversion lottery. As in years past, we’re using this once-a-year opportunity to show our dissatisfaction with an outdated process that unfairly penalizes first time homeowners!
We'll meet on the City Hall steps starting at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, February 3. We'll have Peet's coffee for you – and petitions to reform the lottery process. Just before 9 a.m., we'll walk together to Room 400 where the lottery is held. On the way, we'll also walk to the Board of Supervisors’ offices to leave petitions asking for condo conversion reform.
We anticipate media covering this event, and we really need to gather stories from TIC owners that demonstrate the hardship that the condo lottery imposes on ordinary San Franciscans. Please let us know if you’re willing to share your story!
Thank you and hope to see you there.
