Action/Alerts

SPOSF ACTION ALERT: HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION MEETING THIS WEDNESDAY, JULY 20, 4 TO 7 P.M., AT CITY HALL, ROOM 264.

July 18, 2011

Would your renters be comfortable with an ex-con living in your building? The Human Rights Commission and the Reentry Council of SF are preparing legislation to send to the Board of Supervisors making it illegal to discriminate against a rental applicant solely on the basis of a prior conviction. It would be illegal to ask about prior convictions on your initial rental application.

Please attend a public forum on this issue on WEDNESDAY, JULY 20, 2011, 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, CITY HALL, RM 263. We have posted a copy of the DRAFT (not final) proposal on our website, https://www.smallprop.org/pdf/press/91.pdf.

Thanks for making your concerns known to our City Government

Noni Richen
President, SPOSF/SPOSFI
