Ordinance File 150646 known as Kim 2.0 was passed unanimously by the Board of Supervisors.
The legislation is before the Mayor for his signature. Please contact the mayor immediately by email or paper letter asking him to veto this measure.

Dear Mayor Lee:
The legislation passed makes it impossible to evict troublemakers unless the misdeed is severe and ongoing. These terms are not defined. The legislation increases vacancy control requiring re-rental at the same rent the outgoing tenant was paying. The mandate requires notices in other languages. The legislation allows for additional roommates no matter what our lease agreements say.
You need not go into a lot of detail. Merely ask the Mayor to veto this legislation with 11 provisions that negatively impact rental property ownership.
