SAVE THE DATE - NEW DATE!!! - Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018
The Hearing of the Assembly Housing & Community Development Committee has been changed to accommodate the large crowd expected to attend. The revised date and time: THURSDAY, JANUARY 11, 2018, 9:00 AM, ROOM 4202, CALIFORNIA STATE CAPITOL, SACRAMENTO. Please reserve this date to attend if at all possible. We are arranging transportation for many, but we encourage carpools also. The California Apartment Association is planning a rally before the hearing; we should be there and be noisy: "Cali Rally!!!"
In the meantime, please email the committee and ask them to leave Costa-Hawkins as it is: You can do this by logging on to http://ahcd.assembly.ca.gov/ Ask every adult in your household to send a separate message. Talk to owners of single-family homes and condominiums about AB1506 and ask them to email and attend the hearing also.
