SPOSF: Action Alert: A Walk for 'Better Housing Policies', Saturday May 17th, 10am-Noon
Saturday May 17th, 10AM, 18th Street, between Church & Dolores
In response to all the new anti-property owners legislation proposed by the Board of Supervisors, a rally has been organized for Saturday, May 17, to remind San Francisco's legislators that current housing policies are headed in the wrong direction and are unfairly punishing property owners. The current barrage of legislation sends the wrong message and is not going to encourage more housing.
This is a private initiative but we think SPOSF members should show up and support the rally. It has been organized through the efforts of Josephine Zhao, Board of Directors member of Small Property Owners.
Directions: On Saturday, meet at 18th Street and Church on the steps of Mission High School. Half a block east of the Muni J car inbound/northbound stop. Please wear a white colored top/t-shirt, sunscreen, hat and comfortable walking shoes.
We ask you to attend and let the voices of property owners in San Francisco be heard.
