SPOSF: Ask for Property Tax Payment Relief Now!

Dear SPOSF Members. We need your help!
We are asking our members to send an email to your state representatives and Governor Newsom asking for a property tax payment delay today.
If rents are delayed, property taxes should be delayed too!
Local tax assessors only have the discretion to offer forgiveness of late penalties. Authority to order a mandatory deferment of property taxes until the end of the COVID-19 Moratorium on Evictions rests solely with the State of California.
We can't pay our monthly expenses if we are not receiving income.
The Time to Act is Now.
We need to let Governor Newsom and our state representatives know that relief is needed before the April 10 deadline.
